Suzanne Gagnon PL. FIN.
With a degree in computer science from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Suzanne has worked in Customer Service in the engineering field and as General Manager of Nourri-Source Montérégie, a breastfeeding support group.
Suzanne is the team's senior financial planner. Hard-working, charming and cheerful, Suzanne loves interacting with people of all ages. Her customer service experience, empathy and general knowledge are a great asset to the team. She's not afraid of new challenges, even accepting them with open arms. Suzanne joined the world of finance in 2012 and since then, her goal has been to help people understand their finances and become financially independent. As the mother of 3 young adults, she likes to run and hike to take her mind off things and stay on track.
Nathalie Chalifoux PL. FIN.
Passionate and outgoing, Nathalie loves to get things done fast. She loves efficiency, proactivity and creativity. Always looking for new challenges, she joined IG Wealth Management in 1993.
With a bachelor's degree in Teaching from Université Laval, a Master's degree from Université du Québec à Montréal and a degree in financial planning, Nathalie has always had a passion for learning. She is an outstanding manager, a consummate professional, as well as a dedicated confidante, financial planner and division manager. Coming from a rural background and a family of 10 children, Nathalie manages her life with deep-rooted values that are reflected in her management practice.
Since 2024, she has decided to pass the torch to Suzanne as team leader in preparation for her well-deserved retirement in a few years' time, as she has taught clients so well! In the meantime, she trains the next generation of financial planners.
Yannick Decosse CFA, CAIA, RIS
With a certificate in Accounting and Finance from McGill, and a diploma in graphic design from École Brassart in France, Yannick is passionate about numbers. Curious, he is constantly seeking to hone his skills. He obtained his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 2023, during which time he also acquired his RIS (Responsible Investment Specialist) designation, and his CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst) in 2024. He is currently pursuing studies in Machine Learning programming, and will begin the process of obtaining his Financial Planner designation in 2025.
A native of Mauritius, Yannick worked for several years in the advertising industry before making the leap into finance in 2018. Among other things, his creative side is behind our beautiful Christmas cards and various marketing mailings. He's also a fan of photography, 50s movies and calculators.
Gabrielle Courant
With a degree in International Commerce from France, Gabrielle joined the team in January 2025 to actively support practice management and business development. Based in Quebec for the past two years, she was trained in Finance through her professional experiences in France and here at IG in Montreal.
A competitor at heart, Gabrielle has long been a horse rider, and it is now in the running that she expresses her taste for challenge and perseverance. Passionate about nutrition and well-being, she strives to integrate these values into her professional and personal life, convinced that overall balance is the key to performance and fulfillment.
Émile Coursol
A young student completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in accounting at HEC Montreal, Émile joined the team with the ambition to contribute through his energy and analytical mindset. He completed his high school studies at Collège Bourget where he was part of the soccer team, and he’s always on the move. A fan of running, cooking, and golf, he enjoys pushing his limits – whether at the desk, in the kitchen, or out on the field.
Mathieu Bastien
A young Concordia University finance student, Mathieu joined the team as an intern to bring some young blood into the team. He studied at College Bourget and then at John About CEGEP. Mathieu is an avid golfer and loves to impress his guests by concocting his own cocktails.
